How to File a Crime Report or Report Mental Health Concerns
During the meeting of the ad-hoc committee on public safety on Hollywood at Berendo and Lyman, Mike Hain, the LFNC Public Health & Safety Committee chair, went over how residents can report criminal activity or mental health concerns.
IF YOU ARE REPORTING AN EMERGENCY OR EXPERIENCING CRIME IN PROGRESS, PLEASE CALL 911.
To file a non-emergency crime report with the LAPD, go to www.lapdonline.org. Use this channel to report crimes including theft, hit-and-run damage to property or a vehicle, and vandalism. You can also call 1-877-ASK-LAPD (1-877-275-5273).
To report illegal dumping go to lacitysan.org.
To report a mental health concern, contact the LA County Department of Mental Health at dmh.lacounty.gov or call the County Crisis Line at 1-800-854-7771.
