Getting Tested Since the Spike: What You Need to Know

Due to the recent spike in coronavirus cases, the City is currently prioritizing testing appointments for people who are experiencing symptoms such as shortness of breath, cough, fever or chills, nausea or vomiting, or loss of taste or smell. Priority is also being given to anyone who was knowingly in contact with someone who has tested positive for coronavirus, and essential workers, including delivery drivers, rideshare workers, constructions workers, grocery workers, first responders, health care professionals and critical government personnel. If you do not meet any of these criteria, you may have to wait longer than usual to make a testing appointment.
